Zadani Smeđi šećer: jednako nezdrav kao i bijeli?

Često se smeđi i demerara (turbinado) šećer reklamiraju kao zdrava zamjena za bijeli šećer, ali na žalost, to nije tako.

Smeđi šećer i bijeli šećer su ista stvar. Smeđi šećer u 90% slučajeva se proizvodi na slijedeći način: nakon rafiniranja, u bijeli šećer se doda melasa (5-10%), koja je preostala nakon procesa prerade.

Tako nastaje smeđi šećer, jednako nezdrav kao i bijeli: ima puno kalorija, skoro ništa minerala i vitamina, i visoki glikemični indeks.



A što Vi mislite po ovom pitanju? Koristite li smeđi šećer umjesto bijelog? Mislite li da je smeđi šećer zdraviji od bijelog?

trudim se šećer koristiti što manje (eventualno za kavu). No ja niti nemam naku veliku potrebu za slatkišima, ja sam od onih kraj kojih čokolada može stajati godinu dana a da se ne sjeti pojesti je... Kad se uravnoteži prehrana (integralne žitarice) onda se smanji i potreba za slatkim... radije ću pojesti neku voćku...

znala sam zamijeniti bijeli šećer smeđim,ali isključivo zbog njegovog okusa. inače,iskreno,ne pada mi na pamet davati puste pare na nešto što je jednako loše kao i bijeli + je pofarbano ...

ove godine sam uzogojila svoju steviju. sad ću je fino posušiti i neću koristiti šećer. inače i po kemijskoj strukturi bijeli, smeđi i voćni šećer su isti.

op op nemoj tako.tošto si sad rekla može ozbiljn o utjecat na nekoga.
Voćni šećer (ako mislimo na isti) dakle ne ona izolirana fruktoza koja se stavlja u sokove već pravi "grožđani" šećer nije isti kao obični šećer.
grožđani šećer je MAJKAod sve hrane, glavni izvor energije za ljude, glavno i najčistije, štoviše, pročišćavajuće gorivo za ovog čovjeka u "dobu vodenjaka". Nema veće istine, i tko god kaže da jeisto pojesti smokvu isto što i pojesti žlicu dvije šećera, ili je kratkovidni idiot koji samo prepisuje sve što u životu zna ili ima nečiste namjere

Ako stevija zaista nema kalorijsku vrednost (kao sto se tvrdi) a nekoliko stotina puta je sladja od obicnog secera,onda je Ram napravila pravu stvar.
Ali ne bih se slozila da je vocni secer isti kao beli i smedji...mozda je Ram mislila na fruktozu koja se prodaje u prahu, a ne na onaj pravi vocni secer,koji unosimo konzumiranjem voca
Mislim da je mala razlika izmedju belog i smedjeg secera, i nutritivno i energetski,na zalost.Samo je smedji malo lepseg ukusa,bar meni.

Je li smeđi šećer nutritivno kvalitetniji od bijelog? - Uvriježena je pretpostavka da je smeđi šećer, zbog sadržaja minerala i vitamina, nutritivno potpunija namirnica od rafiniranoga bijelog šećera. Smeđi šećer uistinu sadrži te sastojke, ali u toliko malim udjelima da te količine nemaju nikakva značenja u dnevnom unosu vitamina i minerala. Smeđi šećer ipak ima bolji okus od bijelog zato što sadrži karamelizirani sirup koji ima okus slada. Prema energetskoj vrijednosti i sastavu ugljikohidrata, bijeli i smeđi šećer se ne razlikuju. Također, grožđani i voćni šećer nisu ništa zdraviji od uobičajena bijelog kristalnog šećera.

umjesto slatkiša jedite SEZONSKO voće pa neće biti problema što je zdravo, a što ne. a ovako će svatko tražiti ispriku zašto je nešto ok.
